Inside Sales Representative (Electrical Distribution)

Location: Edmonton, Alberta | Status: Regular, Full Time | Schedule: Monday to Friday (daytime).

Job Description

In this role you will provide inside sales support and customer service for our electrical distribution product lines, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of customer requests, maximizing sales opportunities, and collaborating closely with outside sales staff.

• Manage and prioritize customer requests received via email, phone, and online sales channels.
• Respond to customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions based on the circumstances.
• Follow up on inquiries and promptly inform key personnel of customer feedback concerning prices, products, and service.
• Maximize sales to customers by suggesting alternative and complementary products.
• Collaborate closely with outside sales staff to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product lines and the systems used to support sales activities.
• Negotiate special prices and terms with customers when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical distribution and B2B sales.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and the ability to put customer satisfaction at the center of all decisions.
• Reliable, resourceful, and committed with resilience and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
