**Looking for an Energetic Family Sidekick!**

Two busy boys, one lovable puppy and a household that could use another capable set of hands! We’re a busy North Vancouver family looking for a warm, reliable and highly self-motivated **Family / Household Assistant** to help keep our home running smoothly. This is **not primarily a nanny position**. Our boys are school-aged, social and active, and are often at school, with friends or at pre-planned activities. What we really need is someone who enjoys taking care of the day-to-day household tasks that make a busy family life feel more manageable. Typical responsibilities would include laundry, folding and putting clothes away, changing bedsheets, tidying and organizing bedrooms and common areas, loading and unloading the dishwasher, cleaning out and organizing the fridge, watering plants, putting out recycling, light household organization, grocery shopping and simple meal or snack preparation. We already have a cleaning company, so this is not a deep-cleaning role. It is more about keeping things tidy, organized and under control in between cleans. There also be some childcare involved, including picking the boys up from school, being at home with them after school or driving them to activities. A valid driver’s licence and clean driving record would therefore be a big asset, and we can provide a vehicle for work-related driving. We are ideally looking for help **two to three afternoons per week**, generally for around **3–4 hours per day**, with some flexibility for the right person. Occasional evening babysitting would also be helpful. Most importantly, we are hoping to find someone proactive who naturally notices what needs to be done and jumps in without always needing a detailed list. Someone who enjoys organizing, takes pride in keeping a home running well and is equally comfortable folding laundry, prepping dinner or helping with the boys when needed. We also have Winter, our young Portuguese Water Dog, so you must genuinely love dogs and be comfortable around an active puppy.
