FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER

• Position Family Support Worker
• Start Date  As soon as possible
• Compensation $34.56/hour

Summary: 

Reporting to the Principal, the Family Support Worker provides guidance and support for at-risk youth and their families.

Required Qualifications: 

• B.A. - Social Work, Psychology, Family Studies including training in mediation and /or conflict resolution.
• Training in mediation and/or conflict resolution.
• One to two year's related experience.
• Valid BC Drivers License.
• Ability to use tact, discretion and persuasion in contacts with students, staff, parents and the public.
• Ability to interpret, analyze and use judgement in the provision of services and in deciding on a course of action.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Ability to work with students.
