Online placement (E-Volunteer) Partner Location: Honduras Start Date: October 2026 Placement Length: 5 Months Language Requirements: Spanish & English Level 4-Advanced Please submit a Spanish Resume and Statement of Interest Eligibility: Open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada only The E-Volunteer’s Role Cuso International is looking for a candidate interested in joining an international volunteer program aimed at contributing to the development and empowerment of women, girls, and individuals living in poverty and vulnerable situations in Latin America. We seek one dedicated individual with specialized expertise in fundraising to provide comprehensive support to our partner organization, MOCAPH. This role involves actively assisting in the strategic identification of funding opportunities, creatively reinventing existing approaches, and meticulously formulating well-structured proposals aimed at the successful implementation of new projects. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that MOCAPH can effectively secure resources necessary to expand and enhance its impactful initiatives. This will help MOCAPH develop a portfolio outlining where and how donors operate, similar to the E Volunteer modality. As an e-volunteer, you will support the organization through the following activities: • Evaluate the methodology, tools, and other resources that have been developed • Develop a work plan for creating strategic plans, including area-specific action plans when necessary • Conduct research utilizing both primary and secondary sources • Suggest tools to enhance internal processes for resource acquisition • Take part in meetings, networks, working groups, and similar forums • Foster the formation of strategic alliances Essential Requirements: • A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Development, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Essential Background: • At least 4-5 years of demonstrated experience in management and fundraising for projects or previous proposals within NGOs or non-profit organizations. • Familiarity and experience with planning, administrative processes, and strategic design. • A strong commitment to environmental values and a passion for conserving natural resources. • Experience and knowledge in teaching, training, facilitation, as well as participatory approaches and tools. • Proven ability to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams. • Proficiency in using information technologies. • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
