CASA Mental Health is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide trauma-informed mental health services. Join a compassionate team working on the front lines of youth care. As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at CASA, you'll address the mental health needs of children and youth through the CASA Classroom program. This position entails working within a cohesive team of health professionals and engaging in patient assessments and treatments. You will also play a crucial role in educational activities and in program improvement efforts in partnership with Alberta’s educational institutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage patient care in Classroom programs
  • Collaborate with a diverse mental health team
  • Enhance mental health service programs and initiatives
  • Provide both virtual and in-person patient support
  • Participate in educational initiatives for aspiring psychiatrists
Requirements:
  • Eligibility for Royal College certification in psychiatry
  • Prefer subspecialty in child and adolescent psychiatry
  • Licensing eligibility with the Alberta College
  • Strong interest in teaching and mentorship
  • Compliance with background check procedures required
