- Participates and leads branch activities in support of expanding the Member relationship and growing share of wallet including growing our Digital Ambassador Program

- Within approval limits approve or provide recommendations on credit products based on thorough, accurate and appropriate credit interviewing and underwriting skills
- Engage in revenue generation and sales based activities in order to achieve performance objectives.
- Open new Member accounts using account opening strategies
- Hold or willingness to obtain Mutual fund accreditation and maintain thorough knowledge of economic and market conditions
- Build external centres of influence to optimize sales and service results
- Use Meridian tools to proactively identify and promote opportunities with all Members to deepen relationships and provide seamless service experiences
- Embrace virtual technology platforms and leverage them to host meetings and engage in impactful communication with Members
- Through sales excellence earn the right to ask for business and drive new referrals
- To appropriate partners in Retail Wealth, Small Business and Commercial
- Resolve problems at first point of contact where possible and refer more complex Member concerns to appropriate staff
- Balance and process daily work in accordance to standard compliance, audit, policies and procedures
- Works with the Branch leadership team, to champion and implement corporate strategies and programs for the branch.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality to respect Members privacy.
- Demonstrates excellent listening and strong consultative skills.
- Removes systemic barriers to exceptional Member Experience.
- Identify and contributes to the continuous enhancement of the Member Experience while leveraging Voice of Employee.

- Participate and execute with the team our Community engagement plan.
- Promote Meridian Credit Union in your community by participating in and being involved in community activities or events while demonstrating the Company Values
- Support local community organizations and activities through Business Development and Good Neighbour Program. Planning, preparation and delivery of Meridian hosted Community events.

Education, Work Experience, and Professional Designations/Certifications
- Post‑secondary education at least 3 years of equivalent work experience in a financial services sales environment with a proven track record in sales
- At minimum MFDA licensing is required
Salary Range
CAD $52,000 – $78,000 annually
