Full-time | Residential Heat Pump Installations
Pay: $52–$70/hour, based on experience
GreenPump Energy is a growing Halifax-based heat pump company helping homeowners across Nova Scotia upgrade to efficient heating and cooling systems.
We’re looking for an experienced Red Seal HVAC/R Technician – Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our team full-time. This role is mainly focused on residential heat pump installations, including ductless mini-splits, multi-splits, and central ducted heat pump systems.
This is a great fit for a skilled technician who takes pride in clean installations, strong workmanship, and doing the job right the first time.
What You’ll Do
- Install residential ductless, multi-split, and central ducted heat pump systems
- Commission systems and verify proper operation
- Complete service and maintenance work when needed
- Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, control, and airflow issues
- Communicate professionally with homeowners
- Complete job documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site
- Support installation quality as the company continues to grow
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Red Seal HVAC/R certification / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic certification
- Residential heat pump installation experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Professional attitude and good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to pass a background check
