Business Officer Needed for Financial Management

Become a vital part of CANSSI Ontario's financial team at the University of Toronto. This part-time Business Officer role is focused on budget management and financial administration. You will report directly to the CANSSI ON Director, working closely with other key leaders. The responsibilities include overseeing financial budgets, processing payroll, and managing procurement for various university departments. Your expertise will guide financial transactions and enhance administrative processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and forecast complex budgets effectively
  • Analyze and prepare financial trend reports
  • Process payroll and reconcile financial accounts
  • Manage procurement and vendor negotiations
  • Serve as the main contact for financial inquiries
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field
  • At least five years in financial administration
  • Proven experience with budget oversight
  • Knowledge of financial systems and processes
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
