We’re looking for a

Finance Controller , to join our head office located in

Vernon, British Columbia . Our head office houses Tolko’s corporate services groups including Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement and Human Resources.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years'

of related industry experience.

Accounting designation

or equivalent certification.

Demonstrated

hands-on operational

and

corporate financial accounting skills .

An excellent understanding of

manufacturing

and

financial consolidation concepts

is required.

A strong team player with superior supervisory, analytical and interpersonal abilities.

Effective verbal and written

communication skills .

An unwavering

attention to detail

and organization.

The ability to

manage multiple assignments

and a commitment to providing excellence in customer service and support.

A proven track record of

leading teams

and experience in the

forest industry .

Proficiency with Excel, JDE financial software, and Dynamics AX is a definite asset.

Responsibilities

Report financial information

to Sr. Management while ensuring company policies, procedures and systems are adhered to.

Provide

supervision and employee development , with a focus on both individual and company needs.

Ensure the required

internal controls

are in place for

revenue recognition, expenditures, recording of transactions , and the

safeguarding of assets .

Develop, analyze and streamline financial information and recommendations

to support management decision making, and both internal and external audits.

Lead the way by maintaining, ensuring adherence to, and revising the corporate financial policies and procedures.

Coordinate the

development of annual consolidated operating budget

for Tolko and its related subsidiaries.

$117,000 to $156,000 per year.
