Detection and Response Consultant - Mandiant

Enhance Canada's cyber defense as a Detection and Response Consultant with Mandiant in Ottawa. Utilize your expertise in incident response and threat hunting to secure national security. As a Forward Deployed Detection and Response Consultant within Mandiant's National Security team, you will be embedded with clients facing cybersecurity challenges. Your role requires proficiency in EDR and SIEM technologies, incident response, and teamwork in high-stakes environments. You'll play a vital part in efficiently managing cybersecurity incidents while contributing to the resilience of Canada's defense sector. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams on incident detection and response
• Design and implement agentic AI solutions for automation
• Analyze cloud, endpoint, and network-based evidence
• Document attacker TTPs and IOCs for investigations
• Present detailed reports to technical and executive audiences

• Bachelor's degree in relevant technical fields
• 3 years in SOC analyst or threat hunting roles
• Valid Personnel Security Clearance eligibility
• Bilingual in English and French
• Excellent project management and communication skills
