Surgery Registered Veterinary Technologist Role

Contribute to outstanding surgical outcomes as a Surgery Registered Veterinary Technologist at Pulse Veterinary Specialists & Emergency. This role emphasizes collaboration in a supportive team environment and exceptional client care. At Pulse Veterinary Specialists, you will bring your RVT expertise to a cooperative setting while working closely with specialty veterinarians. The role includes assisting in surgeries, managing anesthesia protocols, and performing essential technical tasks. Experience a flexible compressed work week with four 10-hour shifts, allowing for work-life balance while delivering high-quality veterinary care. Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize and maintain medical equipment effectively
- Place IV catheters and calculate drug dosages accurately
- Assist during surgeries and manage anesthesia protocols
- Produce radiographs and administer CPR as necessary
- Communicate efficiently with team members and clients
- Diploma in Animal Health Technology received
- At least 2 years of RVT surgical experience required
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Organized with excellent time management abilities
- Initiative to advance surgery team success
