Work Life Balance

BCIT employees enjoy a workweek of 35 hours or less. We may support numerous alternative work options, which may include telecommuting and compressed workweeks.

Vacation

The minimum annual paid vacation allotment for employees is three weeks, and all faculty members are entitled to up to nine weeks’ paid vacation every year.

Our employees may annually obtain funds for professional development and can take advantage of free BCIT part-time studies course. In addition, we offer a whole host of in-house workshops in business skills, teaching skills, leadership development, software and health & wellness.
