Responsibilities:
- Perform regular checks on inventory levels and compare them to database records
- Ensure that all incoming and outgoing shipments are properly labeled and accounted for
- Inspect goods for defects or damages and report any issues to the supervisor
- Collaborate with warehouse workers and other staff to ensure efficient and timely operations
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Track and report on warehouse productivity and efficiency metrics
- Operate forklifts and other machinery to move, organize and store goods
- Perform other related duties as required by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and accuracy in checking inventory
- Good communication skills to interact with warehouse staff and management
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory role preferred
