VFX professionals create stunning visual effects for film, television, and commercials. They are responsible for executing complex tasks like computer-generated imagery (CGI), compositing, and animation, ultimately bringing visuals to life on screen.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute visual effects for film or television projects
  • Use industry-standard software like Nuke, Maya, and After Effects to create and composite visual effects elements
  • Work with the production team to ensure that deadlines are met and projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Stay up-to-date with new and emerging technologies and techniques in the visual effects industry
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure that project objectives are met
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve technical issues related to visual effects production
  • Manage and organize project files and assets for efficient workflow
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as animation and compositing, to integrate visual effects seamlessly into the final product

Requirements:

  • Experience in VFX industry with a strong understanding of VFX pipelines and workflows
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Maya, Nuke, Houdini, and/or After Effects
  • Ability to create and integrate 3D assets into live-action footage
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other departments and team members
  • Flexibility to work long hours and/or weekends when necessary to meet project deadlines
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python is a plus
