Responsibilities:
- Assist tile setters in preparing and carrying materials to job sites
- Clean and prepare surfaces for tile installation
- Measure and cut tiles according to specifications
- Mix and apply grout, sealant, and adhesive
- Ensure that tiles are aligned and spaced properly
- Assist with installation of tile patterns and designs
- Remove and replace damaged tiles, if necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned by tile setters or supervisors
Requirements:
- Experience in tile setting or related field
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Knowledge of different types of tiles and installation methods
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to learn new techniques and skills
- Own transportation and driver's license preferred.
