  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to negotiate costs and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
  • Collaborate with other production departments, such as costume design and lighting, to ensure a cohesive overall production design

Requirements:

  • Strong creative and visual design skills, with the ability to develop innovative designs and concepts
  • Extensive knowledge of stage design software and technology, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Vectorworks
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other designers, production teams, and clients
  • Experience in creating designs for a range of events, including concerts, theater productions, and corporate events
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure designs are accurate and meet all safety and technical requirements
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
