Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine appropriate welding techniques and methods
- Set up and operate welding equipment and tools, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders
- Clean and prepare surfaces to be welded, ensuring there is no dirt, rust, or other contaminants
- Monitor and adjust welding parameters to ensure quality and efficiency of welds
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and fabricators, to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standards
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following proper welding procedures
- Perform regular maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order
Requirements:
