Responsibilities:
- Rig up and down drilling equipment and machinery
- Operate drilling equipment and perform routine maintenance
- Handle drill pipes and casing
- Assist in the running of cementing and fracturing operations
- Clean and maintain drilling floor and equipment
- Assist in the mixing and handling of drilling fluids
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the drilling supervisor
Requirements:
- Physical fitness and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods of time, often in harsh weather conditions
- Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience operating and maintaining drilling equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations for oil and gas operations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors
- Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management
- Willingness to work in remote locations and travel as required
