A Rollout Engineer oversees the successful deployment of software and hardware upgrades in a company. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and executing installation processes while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with project manager and technical teams to plan and execute network infrastructure rollout
- Ensure all equipment and materials are available and delivered to the site on time
- Conduct site surveys to assess network readiness and identify potential issues
- Install and test network equipment, including switches, routers, and access points
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues during and after rollout
- Document and report on project progress, including any delays or roadblocks
- Train end-users on how to use new network infrastructure

Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel to various locations for project deployments
