Responsibilities:
- Rig up and rig down drilling equipment as per company standards and procedures.
- Operate drilling equipment and machinery safely and efficiently, according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Perform regular maintenance and inspection of drilling equipment and machinery, including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with other members of the drilling team and management, reporting any issues or concerns as necessary.
- Monitor drilling operations and adjust drilling parameters as needed to maintain optimal performance and avoid accidents or incidents.
- Train and mentor new drillers and other members of the drilling team, as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of drilling activities, including drilling logs, equipment maintenance records, and safety reports.
Requirements:
- Rig Drilling experience of at least 3 years
- Ability to operate drilling equipment and perform routine maintenance
- Knowledge of drilling safety procedures and regulations
- Physical fitness and ability to work in harsh weather conditions
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Flexibility to work long hours and be on call for emergency situations
- Strong communication skills to report progress and coordinate with other team members
