Responsibilities:
- Drive a company vehicle to deliver and pick up packages in a timely and efficient manner
- Load and unload packages weighing up to 70 lbs
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers and resolving any issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups using handheld devices and/or paper logs
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating a company vehicle
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with sorting and organizing packages at the warehouse as needed
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate delivery trucks in a safe and efficient manner
- Familiarity with local roads and routes
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
