Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of clients to determine their psychoeducational needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients based on their needs
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families on various topics such as mental health, behavior management, and coping skills
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to provide comprehensive care to clients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in the delivery of psychoeducational services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field
  • Experience working with children and/or adolescents with behavioral, emotional, and/or learning disabilities
  • Knowledge of different therapeutic approaches and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients, families, and other professionals
  • Ability to assess and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
