Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of clients to determine their psychoeducational needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients based on their needs
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families on various topics such as mental health, behavior management, and coping skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to provide comprehensive care to clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment outcomes
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field
- Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in the delivery of psychoeducational services
- Advocate for clients and their families to ensure their needs are met and their rights are protected
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field
- Experience working with children and/or adolescents with behavioral, emotional, and/or learning disabilities
- Knowledge of different therapeutic approaches and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients, families, and other professionals
- Ability to assess and develop individualized treatment plans
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
