Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and plumbing codes to plan plumbing installations.
  • Install, maintain and repair plumbing systems and fixtures such as water, gas and drainage systems.
  • Collaborate with contractors, construction workers and architects to ensure project success.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with plumbing systems and provide solutions to fix them.
  • Install and maintain water heaters, faucets, sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures.
  • Ensure that all work is in compliance with local and national plumbing codes.
  • Keep accurate records of all plumbing-related activities and maintain inventory of plumbing supplies.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients about plumbing issues and solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a plumber
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems and components, including installation and repair procedures
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and building codes
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid plumbing license and/or certification
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
