Responsibilities:
- Install, program, troubleshoot and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
- Diagnose and repair faults in PLC control systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Design, implement and modify PLC control systems
- Ensure that PLC systems meet safety and quality standards
- Provide technical support to production personnel
- Perform preventative maintenance on PLC systems
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in PLC systems
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PLC troubleshooting and programming
- Knowledge of PLC programming languages such as ladder logic, function block diagram, and structured text
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with industrial automation systems and equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergency repairs
