Responsibilities:

  • Install, program, troubleshoot and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Diagnose and repair faults in PLC control systems
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings
  • Design, implement and modify PLC control systems
  • Ensure that PLC systems meet safety and quality standards
  • Provide technical support to production personnel
  • Perform preventative maintenance on PLC systems
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in PLC systems

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in PLC troubleshooting and programming
  • Knowledge of PLC programming languages such as ladder logic, function block diagram, and structured text
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with industrial automation systems and equipment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergency repairs
