Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of workers engaged in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipelines
- Ensure that the work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure that it is completed on time and within budget
- Communicate with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates on the project status
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and other relevant information
- Train and mentor new employees, ensuring that they are properly trained in safety procedures and job duties
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend changes to increase efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipefitting and installation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong knowledge of pipe materials, sizes, and fittings
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a team of pipefitters
- Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to enforce them on the job site
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with other departments and contractors
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites as needed
