A Parts Puller meticulously selects and organizes automotive parts from inventory for customer orders. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, ensuring quality control, and optimizing warehouse efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify parts needed for production orders and pull them from inventory
  • Ensure accuracy of parts pulled by comparing them to the production order and/or part numbers
  • Package and label parts accurately for delivery to production teams
  • Communicate any discrepancies or shortages in inventory to the warehouse supervisor
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts inventory area
  • Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment to move heavy or bulky parts
  • Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working in the warehouse

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, instructions and follow directions
  • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in parts identification and pulling
  • Basic computer skills to navigate inventory management systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime
  • Prior experience in warehouse or automotive industry preferred but not required.
