Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams to build and wire control panels
- Assemble and install electrical and electronic components such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, transformers, and wiring in accordance with electrical codes and standards
- Perform quality control checks and tests on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and safety standards
- Communicate and collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues during panel construction process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and keep track of inventory levels to ensure materials are available for upcoming projects
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries on the job
- Train and mentor new panel builders and apprentices to ensure they are properly trained and equipped to perform their job duties
Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools to assemble and wire electrical control panels
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems

- Physical dexterity and ability to work in tight and uncomfortable spaces
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites as required
