Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Orthoptics or a related field
- Certification from the American Orthoptic Council or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ophthalmology
- Experience in diagnosing and treating eye disorders, including strabismus and amblyopia
- Ability to work collaboratively with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals
- Strong communication skills to effectively explain treatment plans to patients and their families
- Attention to detail to accurately measure and track eye movements and visual acuity
- Willingness to continue education and stay up-to-date on advancements in the field of orthoptics
