Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the availability and stability of Oracle Applications and database systems
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle Applications and database software
  • Monitor and optimize database performance and proactively identify and resolve issues
  • Design and implement backup and recovery strategies, including disaster recovery testing
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and audit requirements
  • Plan and execute database and system migrations and upgrades

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle Applications DBA
  • Expertise in installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle Applications 12c and 11g environments
  • Experience in managing and troubleshooting Oracle E-Business Suite applications, including Oracle Financials, HRMS, and Supply Chain Management
  • Proficiency in database backup and recovery, performance tuning, and capacity planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to create and maintain documentation for all database-related activities
  • Experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion Middleware products, including WebLogic Server and Oracle SOA Suite
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and experience in migrating Oracle Applications to the cloud is a plus
