Responsibilities:
- Assist surgical team with preparing operating room for surgery
- Ensure all necessary equipment is available and functioning properly
- Assist with positioning patients on operating table
- Prepare patient for surgery, including cleaning and disinfecting incision site
- Assist with transferring patients to and from the operating room
- Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies and instruments
- Clean and sterilize surgical equipment and instruments
- Assist with post-surgical clean-up and restocking of operating room
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and medical terminology
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and patients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
