Requirements:

  • Relevant Education and Qualifications: The candidate must have a degree in Operating Department Practice or a related field, as well as be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • In-depth Knowledge of Operating Procedures: The candidate must have a thorough understanding of surgical procedures, anesthesia, and patient positioning, as well as knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Attention to Detail: The candidate must be meticulous and attentive to detail, ensuring that all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use, and that the operating room is clean and prepared for surgery.
