An Oiler ensures smooth operation of mechanical equipment by providing lubrication services. Responsibilities include maintaining oil levels, inspecting machinery for wear and tear, and performing minor repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper lubrication of machinery and equipment
- Monitor oil and lubricant levels and replenish as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including oil changes and filter replacements
- Assist engineers and mechanics with repairs and maintenance tasks
- Keep accurate records of oil usage and maintenance performed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid certification as an Oiler.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Oiler.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Knowledge of different types of oils and lubricants, and their proper usage.
- Physical fitness to perform job duties, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work in different locations and on different types of vessels.
