Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the piping system.
  • Cut, thread, and bend pipes to fit the design of the system using hand and power tools.
  • Install, align, and secure pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to the specifications of the design.
  • Test piping systems for leaks and malfunctions using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, and other methods.
  • Repair and replace damaged or malfunctioning pipes, fittings, and fixtures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in offshore pipefitting or a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools required for pipefitting.
  • Familiarity with various piping materials and their installation techniques.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices specific to offshore environments.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Physical ability to work long hours in challenging conditions, including at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Willingness to travel and work on offshore rigs for extended periods of time.
