Responsibilities:
- Perform non-destructive tests on materials, components, or systems in accordance with established procedures and standards
- Interpret and evaluate test results in terms of acceptability, discontinuities, and material characteristics
- Develop and implement testing procedures and techniques to improve testing efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to determine testing requirements and resolve testing issues
- Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper calibration and functioning
- Prepare written reports and documentation of test results for internal and external use
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in non-destructive testing techniques and technologies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during testing procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, such as UT, RT, MT, PT, ET, or VT
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in NDT
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, and NACE
- Proficiency in using NDT equipment and software
- Ability to interpret and analyze NDT results
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and team members
