Responsibilities:
- Load and unload furniture and other household items onto and off of moving trucks
- Pack and wrap fragile items to ensure they are secure during transport
- Drive moving trucks to and from designated locations
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a smooth moving process
- Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed
- Ensure that all items are properly placed and secured in the moving truck
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while on the job
Requirements:
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and carry heavy items
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and other team members
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record for driving moving trucks
- Attention to detail when packing and unpacking items to avoid damage
- Time management skills to ensure on-time arrival and completion of moves
