Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain all equipment related to the drilling process.
- Ensure proper maintenance and repair of all drilling machinery and equipment.
- Monitor and log drilling operations and report any issues or abnormalities to the drilling supervisor.
- Assist in the rigging up and down of drilling equipment and machinery.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of wellhead equipment and tools.
- Perform regular safety checks and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
- Train and supervise junior staff members.
Requirements:
- Ability to operate and maintain machinery and equipment related to drilling operations
- Physical fitness and ability to work long hours in difficult and remote environments
- Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to follow them strictly
