Responsibilities:

- Mix mortar or grout according to specifications and apply it to the materials being used.
- Ensure that the structure is level and plumb using specialized tools such as spirit levels and plumb bobs.
- Cut and shape bricks, stones, and concrete blocks using hand tools or power tools such as saws and grinders.
- Repair and maintain existing masonry structures by replacing or repairing damaged bricks or stones.
- Keep the work area clean and tidy and ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored after use.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in masonry work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Proficient in using various masonry tools and equipment
- Knowledge of different types of materials used in masonry work
- Physically fit to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Skilled in mixing and applying mortar to ensure proper bonding of materials
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with other masons and construction workers on the job site
