A Mailer manages the distribution of physical and digital mail within an organization. Responsibilities include sorting, processing, and delivering mail, ensuring timely and accurate communication flow.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sorting and organizing mail for delivery
- Ensuring that all mail is delivered to the correct recipient
- Using mailroom equipment, such as postage meters and envelope sealers
- Assisting with the preparation of bulk mailings, such as newsletters or promotional materials
- Maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing mail
- Answering inquiries from staff and clients regarding mail delivery status
- Following all safety and security protocols when handling sensitive or confidential mail
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Familiarity with mailing procedures and equipment
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and email
- Physical ability to stand, lift, and move heavy packages as needed
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
