A Mailer manages the distribution of physical and digital mail within an organization. Responsibilities include sorting, processing, and delivering mail, ensuring timely and accurate communication flow.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sorting and organizing mail for delivery
  • Ensuring that all mail is delivered to the correct recipient
  • Using mailroom equipment, such as postage meters and envelope sealers
  • Assisting with the preparation of bulk mailings, such as newsletters or promotional materials
  • Maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing mail
  • Answering inquiries from staff and clients regarding mail delivery status
  • Following all safety and security protocols when handling sensitive or confidential mail

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Familiarity with mailing procedures and equipment
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and email
  • Physical ability to stand, lift, and move heavy packages as needed
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
