Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all linen and uniforms are properly sorted, washed, dried, and folded or pressed.
  • Maintain accurate records of linen and uniform inventories, orders, and deliveries.
  • Train and supervise new employees, ensuring that they understand the proper procedures for handling linen and uniforms.
  • Monitor the performance of employees to ensure that all work is completed on time and to the required standards.
  • Ensure that all equipment and machinery is properly maintained and serviced to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in linen and laundry operations required.
  • Ability to supervise and manage a team of laundry attendants.
  • Knowledge of laundry equipment and chemicals required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills required.
  • Ability to maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures required.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts as needed.
  • Familiarity with computer software for inventory management and reporting preferred.
