As a laundry attendant, you will be responsible for processing and cleaning linens and garments in a commercial laundry setting. You will ensure that all items are cleaned and pressed to high standards, while adhering to safety and sanitation protocols. Responsibilities:
- Sort and separate laundry according to fabric types, colors, and washing instructions
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment
- Measure and add detergent and fabric softener to each load of laundry
- Fold, stack, and store clean laundry in designated areas
- Inspect and report any damages or stains on laundry items
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and towels
- Keep track of inventory and alert supervisor when supplies need to be restocked
- Provide excellent customer service to guests who have special laundry requests or concerns
Requirements:
