Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Korean language curriculum and lesson plans for students of varying levels and backgrounds
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Korean language lessons to facilitate student learning and retention
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback and support to help students achieve their language learning goals
- Create and administer quizzes, tests, and other assessments to evaluate student performance and adjust instruction as needed
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Korean language education and incorporate new teaching methods and technologies into instruction
- Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive language education program
- Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced Korean language instructors, including observation and feedback on teaching practices
Requirements:
- Fluency in Korean language - both written and spoken
- Experience in teaching Korean language to non-native speakers
- Knowledge of Korean culture and customs
- Ability to develop curriculum and lesson plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, if needed
