Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum events such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings
  • Assist the Product Owner with backlog management and ensure that the team has a clear understanding of the product vision and priorities
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and remove any impediments that may interfere with the team's ability to deliver the sprint goals
  • Work closely with the Scrum Master and other team members to ensure that the team is following Scrum principles and practices
  • Track and report on the progress of each sprint, including sprint goals, burndown charts, and velocity
  • Encourage and support team members to take ownership of their work and continuously improve their skills and knowledge
  • Help the team to establish and maintain effective communication channels, both within the team and with external stakeholders
  • Assist in facilitating team decision-making processes, ensuring that decisions are made collaboratively, and that everyone's input is taken into account

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master I certification
  • At least 1 year of experience working in an Agile environment
  • Ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Kanban, Lean and XP
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks and impediments to team progress
