Responsibilities:
- Performing cleaning and sanitation tasks in various areas of the facility
- Emptying trash and recycling bins and disposing of waste according to established procedures
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors and carpets
- Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms and restocking supplies as needed
- Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks as necessary
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to management
- Operating cleaning equipment and using cleaning chemicals safely and correctly
- Assisting with special projects and events as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy objects, standing for long periods of time, and bending and reaching
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact with clients and customers
