Responsibilities:

  • Interview, examine, and diagnose patients to determine their medical conditions and needs
  • Perform interventional procedures using radiological techniques to treat and diagnose medical conditions
  • Interpret medical images and reports to make accurate diagnoses
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals, including physicians, nurses, and technologists, to provide comprehensive patient care

  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to explain medical procedures and results
  • Document medical procedures and patient care accurately and thoroughly
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety

Requirements:

  • A medical degree from an accredited institution and a completed residency program in radiology.
  • A board certification in radiology and interventional radiology.
  • Proficient in performing a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to angiography, embolization, biopsy, and drainage procedures.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and oneself.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze imaging results and effectively communicate findings to referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong attention to detail, exceptional hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency while completing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.
