Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to prevent accidents and injuries
- Provide HSE training to employees and contractors to promote a culture of safety
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Manage HSE audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into project planning and execution
- Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness in the event of an emergency
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends to continuously improve the organization's HSE program
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE advisory role
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- Thorough knowledge of HSE legislation and regulations
- Ability to develop and implement HSE policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to conduct HSE audits and inspections
- Proficiency in using HSE management systems and software
