Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy dynamically scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications on Google Cloud Platform
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise during the pre-sales and sales process
  • Collaborate with customers to design and implement solutions that meet their business requirements and align with industry best practices
  • Develop and maintain project plans, technical documentation, and architecture diagrams
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
  • Participate in and contribute to the development of internal knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with security, performance, and availability requirements

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing technologies including virtualization, storage, networking, and security
  • Experience in designing and implementing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on GCP
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language and ability to write code for automation and orchestration of cloud infrastructure
  • Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Storage
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed, cloud-based environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Google Cloud certification such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer is preferred
