FEA Engineers perform complex simulations to test product durability and identify potential weaknesses. They are responsible for creating models, analyzing data, and providing solutions to improve product performance and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform finite element analysis (FEA) simulations to evaluate designs and optimize performance
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to identify potential design issues and propose solutions
  • Analyze and interpret simulation results to provide recommendations for design improvements
  • Develop and maintain FEA models and simulation tools to support product development
  • Communicate and present analysis results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest FEA techniques, tools, and software
  • Contribute to the development of new FEA processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to FEA analysis and simulation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS or ABAQUS software
  • Strong knowledge of mechanics of materials, stress analysis and structural dynamics
  • Experience with CAD and/or CAE software (SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.) is a plus
  • Ability to interpret and analyze engineering drawings and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
