An Entry Level Clinical Data Manager oversees the collection and analysis of clinical trial data. Responsibilities include ensuring data accuracy, implementing data management plans, and coordinating with research teams.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of clinical data in accordance with protocol, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform data cleaning activities and resolve data discrepancies.
- Create and maintain data management documentation, including data management plans and data transfer agreements.
- Conduct quality control checks on clinical data, including query resolution and database lock activities.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, biostatistics, and programming, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of clinical data.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field
- Knowledge of clinical trial regulations and guidelines (e.g. ICH-GCP)
- Proficiency in using clinical data management systems (e.g. Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm)
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with electronic data capture (EDC) systems
- Understanding of data validation and query management processes
