An EDI Analyst (Remote) manages electronic data interchange operations, ensuring seamless data transmission between systems. Responsibilities include analyzing, designing, and maintaining EDI specifications and mappings, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing system efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and troubleshoot EDI transactions to ensure data integrity and compliance with trading partner requirements
- Collaborate with trading partners and internal teams to develop, test and implement EDI solutions
- Monitor and support EDI production processes and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Create and maintain EDI transaction maps and trading partner profiles
- Provide training and support to end-users on EDI processes and requirements
- Participate in the development and implementation of EDI-related projects
- Stay up-to-date with EDI standards and technology advancements to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for process improvement
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in EDI analysis and support.
- Strong knowledge of EDI communication protocols such as FTP, AS2, SFTP, and VAN.
- Experience in mapping EDI transactions between trading partners and EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and TRADACOMS.
- Knowledge of EDI translation software such as Gentran, GIS, and Sterling B2B Integrator.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve EDI communication issues between trading partners.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or SQL is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
