Responsibilities:
- Conducting safety checks on diving equipment and ensuring they are in good working condition
- Planning and executing safe and efficient diving operations
- Monitoring and maintaining diving equipment and facilities
- Performing underwater tasks such as welding, cutting, and drilling
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Assisting in the training and development of new divers
- Recording and reporting on diving operations, including any incidents or issues that arise
- Communicating effectively with team members and other stakeholders involved in diving operations
Requirements:
- Must be a certified scuba diver
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness
- Knowledge of underwater safety measures and emergency procedures
- Ability to operate scuba diving equipment and maintain it
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions to diving partners
- Willingness to work irregular hours and in varying weather conditions
- Experience in underwater photography and videography is a plus
- Clean criminal record and willingness to undergo background checks
